GameDev.net is looking for News Editors: people who can keep GameDev.net's news section up-to-date with the latest events, happenings, releases, and controversial topics of interest to those in the games industry. If you are interested you must be at least 18 years of age, show excellent written communication skills, demonstrate an understanding of journalism, be self-motivated, have a passion for game development, maintain a basic understanding of HTML, and have an undying love for GameDev.net.
As a news editor you will be expected to provide daily updates to GameDev.net's news content Monday through Friday. We are looking to develop a news team, so we are not expecting news editors to spend any more than 10 to 15 hours per week updating, managing, or writing up news content. This is not a guaranteed paid position, as we cannot guarantee consistent compensation, but in the worst case we will show our appreciation for your work through other means (just ask any of our other staff).
