I would like to hear about any recommendations that people have regarding web hosting companies. I''m going to set up my website in January and here is what I need from the host -MySQL support -php -ssl -fairly large bandwidth: I can probably get away with ~1-2 GB/Month to start, but I will "hopefully" require more as time progresses. So, I need the host to be capable of handling a heavier load further down the road -storage space: probably about 400-500 MB minimum to start -other frills (ie a few email addresses, myphpadmin etc...) -uptime > 99% I''m currently based near Toronto (Canada)...are their any advantages to going with a local company as opposed to non-local? I was looking at one Canadian company named Worldics...they seem to have reasonable packages that suit my needs. Anyone ever here of them? Negative or positive feedback about this particular company?
