This framework is an ambitious attempt to create a responsible, robust, and versatile environment for resource-demanding programs, mainly for games, both 2D and 3D. Featuring extensible modular architecture with minimum external dependencies, NipSys64 is meant to be fast and memory-efficient for a wide range of tasks, such as architectural visualization, computer-aided design, education and realtime simulation of complex systems (e.g. digital twins). My goal is to create a barrier-free workflow inside a single game-like environment where one can work with interactive content, physical simulations, sound, visuals and other media and make them interact with each other.

NipSys64 is being written in C++ for Win64 platform. The engine uses its own formats to store and manage various content efficiently (images, audio, 3D objects etc). I've been working on it since late 2013.
