Hey guys! Since so many of you here code, I thought you may be interested in this specific post on my blog. I'd love to get more opinions and recommendations, so feel free to share them.

For me, some nice and easy pop music works just fine. It has enough "feeling" to keep your spirits high, without being so overly saturated as most trance or metal is.

I prefer not to listen music while coding or writing. I like to actually *listen* the music, I cant do it if Im thinking at the same time. So, i end up listening music while I browse the network or in clubs friday night.

chiptunes (especially 8Bit Mayhem) and rock =)

Vocal trance on Digitally Imported! It's not just my favorite coding music, but my favorite music, period [smile]

Slayradio or 8bit FM

Mainly Melodic Death Metal, sometimes Power Metal and other Metal variants.
Norther, Dark Tranquillity, Ensiferum, Catemenia, Kalmah...

And if I want something that hasn't been rotated in my playlist yet, I tune in on SnakeNet Metal Radio.
