simple javascript question

I have a text file on my server containing a number. Is it posible to use just &#106avascript to write the contents on an html page. If yes could you give some example code. Thanks in advance. -CProgrammer

I don''t think you are going to be able to do that with &#106avascript. It executes on the clients computer without reconnecting to your server.
