Hello Team,

Just about to finish up a degree and looking to focus and improve skills before entering the industry. The questions are: Is it necessary to learn both industry-standard engines and their associated code languages or is it better to focus on one? What are the best resources to utilize and where is the best place to start (code or engine)?

You should build games. Use whatever tools you can to build games. Build a solo project. Collaborate with a team. Just make stuff, then put up an impressive portfolio.

Learning Unreal vs Unity is easy, mastering one takes a lot of time, mastering both maybe a whole life
