Day 3: (Polish + More Gameplay)
Goss has been working feverishly to get the time system in place. I have no screenshots to share of this (as they are unfinished) but the system is finally in place. We can now create timed events, track days of the week on an in game calendar, as well as control timed events such as feeding times. ByteTroll has been hard at work fixing the behavior system and getting it ready for a hook in. Sadly he is waiting on goss to finish up a function for picking things up, but this was not able to get put in tonight. (more work for tomorrow) Once the pickup code is in for the farm animals we can work on feeding and taming.

As for my own work. I have spent the better part of the night creating the barn, as well as ensuring the new texture for the farmer is in place. You can see the semi-final texture here:

I have also provided a video of the timelapse for the creation of this texture, hope you enjoy!

Lastly, I spent most of the night getting the barn in place and working. I was on livestream for roughly 3 hours showing off the creation process so if you got to see it, GOOD JOB! If not you missed out! :) Here is a screenshot of the current barn scene:

That looks awesome! I say that if you release this on Steam, I'd buy it. Games like Harvest Moon are a rarity these days. Most devs opt to go either the sim way, or the totally arcade way where you have to possess a good enough reflex to be able to play them decently.

I can't believe how much, and how polished this is in 3 days. Wow. Just Wow.

Thanks! Goss is a super big help as he has industry knowledge with this stuff! My art is fast (not perfect) but certainly fast. There are still some elements we need to work on to really call it polished! Such as the ability to NOT fall off the world by walking through the missing navmesh locations. Still need to add in 10 or so animations, and I have about 20 models to make all within 4 days.... much to do!
