Working, Working, Working

I've had long weeks since a couple of month (since beginning of august) and after having finished my work on a project for a friend of mine, I've decided to take some days off to catch up on some other stuff I had/wanted to do.
On monday I had to do my quarterly VAT declaration (here in Belgium). I remarked that my last quarter was not as profitable as the previous ones. But this is mostly due to the fact that I dropped Sacred 2 and started a new contract (for which I haven't yet written an invoice). Also, I only wrote this monday some invoices for work I did mid august to mid september... so those are added to the current quarter. I also bought a new laptop which took off some money of my profit.
I also had to drive back to my car vendor because they forgot to join the invoice for the car to the papers. After that I had to pass by my insurance company to set up the right contracts.
I started reading "The Indie Game Development Survival Guide" by David Michael. It's a quite interesting book. While there are a lot of things that should be obvious to someone like me (who's been in business since 11 years), it's good to read it black on white in a book. Serves me to keep track of what I have to keep an eye on.
Yesterday I continued writing the game design document for my indie game project called "Prohibition". While writing it I'm constantly thinking of what to do and what not to do. I'm more used to AA and AAA projects than writing indie game project documentation.
Today I'll work on one of the risk part of the game project: SCXML. I didn't have ay time to work on that since 2 weeks :( Hopefully, I can make some progress today...
Have fun,
Metron
