It's been a long way to go. A relatively simple game that took a long time to complete. A lot of the time I spent working with motivation and fear of failure. But now I'm finally through and BlockStacker is finally complete and released.
BlockStacker (final 1)
Sure there are a lot of things I could improve and polish on but I have to draw a line somewhere and call it finished. I have fulfilled all the requirements I had with the project to begin with and for once I haven't strayed but have stayed focused on this one project all the way. Now I can pick up other projects without having to feel that I don't finish what I start.
I have completed my first game. This is a great moment for me.
About this version of BlockStacker, I hope you will find the visuals more appealing. I haven't cahanged it dramatically but it should look a little better. I have also included a small amount of sound. Not much since I think that more than a little sound on website games almost always become annoying. I omitted music altogether for the same reason.
Now the game board clears properly when starting a new game. It didn't earlier as pointed out by Aiursrage. Also the rotational quirk Gazillion mentioned has been removed and the pieces rotate properly without moving around now.
To all of you who have contributed with feedback on this project I want to say thanks a lot guys. You rock! [smile]
