Hey guys, quick little update...I've got 4 more guns from my weapons artist...

Remember the game is played from the 3rd person view when you're controlling one of your gangsters, so I think the guns are detailed enough.

I'm holding my USP Compact right now, and my Five-Seven and they look exactly like these. :-o

The safety is modeled in the "on" position on the Five-Seven...do you think people will notice that? ;-)

These are weapons #42 -> #45 of the 50 weapons that I'm including in the game :-D Maybe I'll have more lol ::evil::

*Note I messed with the brightness/contrast of the images to show the guns details.

USP Compact...

L85...

Five-Seven...

Dragunov...

Mmmmm... I want a rifle with a huge scope IRL. That will have to be my next purchase, if I ever get any disposable income of that magnitude. I'm too thrifty to save :P

Lookin good, but don't let yourself get carried away. Capping the weapons at 50, at least for the initial release, is good.

I was going to say something witty about your models being complete shit and you should go back to the drawing board and draw something that looks like a real gun, not something from a cartoon. But I figured no-one would read past the first line if I did that, and I'd end up getting flamed from 11 different directions.

Very impressive work. And no, I doubt anyone will notice the safety is on.

Hehe yea they might look a bit cartoony, I messed with the contrast/color and stuff...these are images from my artist. It'll look good ingame with the HDR.4xFSAA.etc probably totally different. They each are about 3,000 triangles, and have a 1024^2 color, normal, specular map with each weapon.

Yea I think 50 weapons should be enough :-D

I've still gotta finalize the last 2-3 I've had some good suggestions, I'll post the remaining weapons when I get them.
