Two new weapons, and my physics test course.

Hey guys, I just got images of the final 2 weapons in the game...bringing the total to 51.

Also I'm working on the car physics so I plopped a little race track in the middle of the city, I found one online for like 100 bucks...it should be good to fine-tune and test all the vehicle handling.

Chainsaw...

The little physics/car handling test track...I have it in-game and everything, I'll post some pics soon...and videos.

I wonder if anybody remembers the videos I posted of the cop car doing burnouts back when I was using Newton physics? I'm going to try and get Ageia's raycast cars to perform as good...

w00t! Chainsaw FTW!

Was the racetrack you purchased just a mesh, or was some sort of collision, bounding, or physics information included too? Do you still have to give the surface of the rode a different friction coefficient, etc.?

Remember to make the players press the "A" button 6-8 times on the chainsaw to prime it before its first use :)

The race track was actually a more complex mesh, but the road was where the details were so I just erased the rest of the model and put it in a field.

It's only 4000 triangles, with the area it takes up I can just flag the mesh as the lod1 lod2 and collision mesh... The FPS are always 60+ when over the race track in-game even though there's a city around it.

I'm gonna have to get some animations for the chainsaw xD
