So I'm playing Mass Effect, which is a pretty cool game, if you're into awkwardly attractive monogendered aliens... and guns.
It's my first RPG since Pokemon. Hurray! It definitely reminds me of why I usually stick to FPS and pron, however. I never did miss the walking around place to place through for hours. Of course, Mass Effect enhances this, um, effect by having some bitchin' slow elevators.
Guns and shooting are definitely the main thing holding me to the game, the story is pretty... well, I'd rather read a book. The universe is pretty interesting, however, with some obviously well-read and hardcore sci-fi nerds behind it. At one point I was wondering why the Krogan dudes have such widely spaced eyes (bad for binocular vision), a thought that was surprisingly addressed later within the game's codex-thingy.
Oh, yeah- I'll be posting random things until I find a project to work on... anybody need some sprites?
