This is the first entry to my Game Development Diary for the Game Modelling and Design Module.

I am a part of Team Green Wizards.

We began work on the project by deciding the style and gameplay we wished to implement in out game, ending on a 2D, top-down, action-adventure game, with puzzle elements.

Next, we debated which game engine to use, first choosing Godot, but then deciding on Unity, due to the greater resources available online.

We chose Tom as our producer, and divied up other important roles, with myself recivieving the role of Sound Engineer and Composer.

We worked on our pitch document, showcasing our ideas for the game and its milestones going forward.

We each decidied on our tasks for the follow week, with mine being to source sound effects for the game, such as attack sounds or walking noises.

I found many online repositories available, with some links posted below.

Going forward, we have team members working on both animation, design and the programming, with my specific tasks relating mostly to the sound design.

I am also linking our pitch document here.
