Unreal Engine chess VR chessgame

Hello everyone, our team is actively preparing for Ultima Chess to release. Currently working on the integration of C++ Chess AI with a 1500 Elo rating. This version will be used only in the demo version, which we plan to launch in June 2025 at Steam Fest. We are planning to implement Stockfish for the release in September 2025.

About C++ Chess AI by Freedom Developer, it follows international chess rules, including such important ones as castling, checkmate, 50/75 move rule, and others.

Initially, the game will be available only on Meta Quest and SteamVR. Later, we plan to release it on PS2VR, Pico, and PC. Stay tuned as we continue to work on Ultima Chess to create the most spectacular chess experience in VR.
