I’m excited to share the first development update for Moleculox.

Moleculox started with a simple idea: slide atoms across a board and connect them to build real molecules.

Over time, that small concept grew into a much larger puzzle game with increasingly complex molecule structures, special atoms, barriers, different mechanics, timed challenges, progression systems and competitive modes.

One of my main goals was to make the game enjoyable as a puzzle first. The chemistry is part of the experience, but players don’t need to know chemistry to play. As you progress, Moleculopedia also gives you a chance to discover more about the molecules you create.

The game is now playable across Web, iOS and Android, and I’m continuing to improve the experience based on player feedback.

Current highlights include:

• Real molecule-inspired puzzles
• Progressive difficulty
• Special atoms, barriers and unique mechanics
• Moleculopedia
• Daily experiments and challenges
• Competitive play
• An Einstein-inspired laboratory guide
• Cross-platform Web, iOS and Android support

The next focus is expanding the game further with new puzzles, mechanics and improvements while keeping the gameplay fast, clear and satisfying.

If you try Moleculox, I’d really appreciate hearing what you think about the puzzle design, difficulty and overall game feel.
