4E4 Entry

Well, I've decided that I'm not going to enter the 4E4 contest. I want to make a 2D isometric game, and I can't finish one by the deadline. If I get some inspiration while I'm in Florida, I my make a side-scroller. Most likely I'll start my 3D isometric game (3D isometric will be easier than simulating the effect in 2D.)

Does anybody know of a 2D side-scrolling game engine (other than the Scrolling Game Development Kit)?
