I think that OpenGL has something like VertexBuffer+IndexBuffer in D3D8, is there any tutorial?(I''ve searched for it but I''ve found nothing) Thanx Glubo

didn''t write anything using d3d before, so i don''t know exactly, how vertexbuffer / indexbuffer work... but i think they''re similar to VertexArrays in OpenGL. i''ve just searched & the website with the tutorial i used seems not to exist any longer... maybe you''ll find what you''re looking for in the MSDN (keyword glDrawArrays()). if that''s not enough, tell me & i''ll post some short code that uses vertex arrays as an example. it''s not a hard to understand topic so the MSDN (or if not, my code) should be enough.

It''s NOT the same, if you want to get the same you must use Vendor Specific Extensions like NV_vertex_array_range for nVidia and ATI_vertex_array_object for ATI cards.

For index buffer-like functionality, use glDrawElements instead of glDrawArrays.

oops... yes... i''ve mixed up glDrawArrays() and glDrawElements(). :D
