Hey im just programming for the first time and just trying stuff out, I am using Dev C++ ....but when i save a file , the Save option disappears, and only the "save as" option can be selected What is wrong, it used to let me ''save'' all the time, I think i broke it or sumtin, I dunno, help plz!

Does it allow you to save if you modify the file?

If so, then that''s a feature, the borland IDE has that too, when you save a file, you can''t save it again unless you have changed it.

That''s probably a "feature." Are you still unable to plain "Save" after you modify the file? If not, don''t worry about it
