I''m most likely at fault here, actually I don''t who else could be at fault, but anyway, I purchased OpenGL Game Programming by Dave Astle and Kevin Hawkins, It''s an amazing book, but I''m having a few problems with my own beginners spinning cube, I have all the coordinates right, I know that because I see a full rotating cube, only some sides seem transparent, I used the base code of the rotating red trianlgle from the book, actually the website since it wasn''t on the CD! Anyone know what the heck I''m doing wrong? cause I sure done, and "constructive" critisizm welcome.

My guess would be that you''ve generated the coordinates for the faces of your cube in the incorrect order. Try reversing the order (instead of going clockwise, go counter clockwise around the vertices) and see if that helps. Or could simply turn off back face culling.

I had a problem similar to this once, are you sure depth testing is enabled? glEnable(GL_DEPTH_TEST);
Those who dance are considered insane by those who cannot hear the music.
