Can anyone recommend a noob book for the V C++ _compiler_ ? Ideally, cheap (right  ) and common enough to turn up at Borders/B&N. I''m teaching myself C++ from a SAMS book and I''m using DevC++. However, I just got an intro copy of V C++ and I can''t make any sense of it at all... Thanks :D

Beginning visual c++ 6.0 by Ivor Horton. It teaches c++ in unison with the compiler step by step and the second half of the book gives a brief intro to many different aspects of windows programming. I have a copy that I''d be willing to sell for pretty cheap. If your interested e-mail me at twysted_187@hotmail.com
