login doesn't work?

Yes, you need cookies enabled for any of login features of the site to work. I would suggest deleting any old gamedev cookie you may have, enabling cookies in your browser and trying again.

I''m using IE (5.0), cookies ARE enabled and I deleted all gdnet-specific cookies I found (which was ONE). It still doesnt work. I try to edit the profile, it throws me to the login page (http://www.gamedev.net/Login.asp). I want to see my bookmarks, same thing. I try to login on http://www.gamedev.net/community/forums/login.asp, it throws me to the first-mentioned page (presumably the latter is meant to happen). Still, when I type in my account info (name+pw), I''m still back on the same page, regardlessly whether I typed in the pw correctly or not. Strange?

Btw, I suggest you put at least an error message into the script /Login.asp - currently I feel as if the gdnet server ignores me completely. Have I been mean to you?!?

Anyway, I repeat: login just doesnt work. Although Cookies are enabled, although I tried with different browser (opera 6.0 and mozilla 1.0 in particular), and although I was going down to my knees praying while I clicked the login button.
Post does work with my account, however.

It just worked via the post''n''store cookie-login hack. But why the heck does it still not work with the "normal" login?!?

Interestingly enough, trying to access http://www.gamedev.net/community/forums/login.asp leads me to the page I tried to access last (i.e. editprofile.asp or track.asp). Is the http://www.gamedev.net/Login.asp page a fake?!? Whats going on here, I don''t understand the system!

PLEASE fix that!
At least add an error message to the /Login.asp, this is just driving me crazy! I don''t want to post everytime to login!!!
