What''s the name of the Air Forces'' special operations team? I know each branch of the military has one.
And if anyone cares to know why I''m asking this:

You have Pararescue and Combat Controllers. Neither one is specifically combat oriented, but they can do it. Pararescue are highly trained medics and combat controllers are highly trained air traffic controllers. Those are broad generalizations however.

And to think I was in the Air Force and I forgot the special forces names. I remember in bootcamp they ask for volunteers to try out for the special forces.
um the top gun is for the navy. and is no more. i would think flying the f22 would be enough to be its own special force.

I thought the Navy Seals were the Navy special ops team? Unless they had a regular Navy special ops and the Navy pilots special ops (Top Gun).
I think it''s pararescue as well.
Been away, so I didn''t notice this till now.
What Hitchhiker90 is thinking of, is Air Force Rangers.
They train just like/with the Army Rangers.
You almost never hear about them.
A link to a site with diffent names of Rangers with branches:
http://www.philmontrangers.com/rosters/1999.html
They are primarily used for pilot rescues and targer identification/acquisition.
They are masters at survival skills.
