Hi all I am really trying to learn 3d programming. I know a bit (and I have done my own basic 3d editor and engine but it is way too basic) but not a lot. Does anyone know of any EXCELLENT sites that teach it from start to finish, which treats you like a beginner (for once), does not get it into the maths so quickly, explains why and what data structures are needed and preferably done by a professional body that does 3d graphics (not essential). I know I have listed a few specification above for what the tutorial should be like, but to be perfectly honest with you, most I have seen are a load of shit and are totally the oppostie or what I have said above. I have been learning for about year and a half how to make a 3d engine and have not learned much becuase most tutorials claim it''s for beginners, but don''t treat you like one especially when they don''t explain why things are things in 3d programming, they jump too quickly into complex maths, don''t give many examples if any and so on. I know I may sound like a real fuss pot but I am deperate to learn more about 3d with the help of a good, detailed tutorial.
Thanks if you can help me and if not, for reading this moan.
