is there a way to multiply my own vertex array like float vertices[100][3] using hardware T&L, by my own matrices without drawing it(i want to setup vertices in my code(different vertices by different matrices) and then draw triangles with this verts), sorry for two silly qestions in such a small time gap. thnx

Hi! I guess you want to use OpenGL because you know it transforms it correctly, but you don't know how to transform them yourself. It's pretty hard to come up with something to do so (ok, maybe with pixel shaders that would be easier) so I'd rather go for learnin the stuff behind matrices and so on.. It really does pay off..

hmmm maybe I missunderstood you... Using diffrent matrices for diffrent vertices doesn't really pay off at all: you need 16 floats (ok, 12 for 4 x 3) transferred across the AGP bus if you want to do that on Hardware T&L and to the you'll need the vertex itself. If you really need to do this, transform the vertices on the CPU...

cya,
Phil

glFeedback is what you''re looking for. When you set the rendermode to feedback, nothing gets drawn, but window coordinates are written to a feedback buffer. Search for it on MSDN.
