Hey, I was wondering if anyone has any info or experience trying to switch the textures of a model gradually. For example, I want to switch the texture of the tiger model from the tiger to a panther. But what I don''t want to do is make it an obvious switch. I thought about fading one into the other and about interpolating between the two. Anyone try this before or see any info on it? Thanks Paul

Alpha blending between textures.

Plenty of discussion about it here, particularly from people doing landscapes who want to blend between rocky textures and grassy textures.

you can switch the texture to texture by move the Source Rectangle.

Yuck!

Look into the D3DRS_TEXTUREFACTOR render state and blending multiple textures, as Simon said.
