ive been struggling lately to find time for everything. like most people here im an aspiring game developer/programmer and it just feels like everythings working against me... uni, work, social life, sport... after all that ive never got much time to work on my projects and learn new stuff. i bought real time rendering tricks and techniques 3 months ago and im only up to chapter 16! and usually i have to leave projects alone for a month or 2 because of uni assignments and stuff and then when i get back into it, it feels like ive taken a couple steps back and need to re-learn things.. it gets annoying because its so anti-productive. its getting to a point where i feel i cant keep at it anymore, something has to give and as much as i want to learn game programming maybe now isnt the best time... Sounds like me, but luckily I am able to make some time at work since I have a desk job.

What you need to do is drop some of your sports, I currently only pay attention to basketball (nice short season), and boxing. And social life? I have none, except for the occasion buddies who will stop by about once or twice a month.

As soon as your done with school you''ll find more time to do the things you want.

Hang in their.

Probably all you can do to improve the situation, unless you were to drop something, is to mark out time every day, or some days of the week, that you will devote to game development, and stick to it over everything else. Lack of time always hurts, but if you can make some progress, even if it''s slow, you''ll be better off.
