I recently finished my entry for the 4E3 contest. I''ve been working on the supporting libraries and the demo itself for a while and I decided to switch to something completely different. I didn''t really have a particular goal, except to learn something new. So I got into compilers, parsers and stuff like that. From there I got a link from Magmai to a Spirit C++ library. That led me to Phoenix framework which in turn led me to functional programming, haskell, lambda functions and a lot of other things I never even heard of. My point is that it''s hard to find out about something new and different unless you accidently stumble upon it. There should be resources online dedicated to help people stumble across something new. Google, for example, does a very good job finding resources on a particular topic. There should be a "Google2" or something that let''s you pick a category, blindly hit the search button and bringing up a set of cool new resources Any ideas on this?

Many search engines (including google) have a directory system where you can click on a category which brings up a list of sub-categories and related websites. Is that what you wanted?
