I think that you should make a C++ board since C++ is a pretty big language and is talked about alot on the boards.

I think that would be unnecessary. Since about 95% of all posters here probably use C++, we''d end up with one C++ board like the ones we have now, with other boards for other languages that are rarely used. It works best for people to just specify what language they''re using when they post.

I perfectly agree to Silent.
The specialized boards (i.e. OpenGL) would overlap with the C++-Board, esp. if the poster can't tell whether the problem lies in the C++ Language or in OGL. The current structure does this job very well. Of course, other ideas would be very welcome I presume.

If you're specifially searching for a C++ board, try C++ Forums, for example. There are many wonderful C++-oriented UBBs out there.

So far my 2¢
(Euro-Cents of course)

Spinning off the Win32 API (just like with DX and OGL) from C++ language issues would be a good idea though.

And possibly revive Software Engineering for class architectures and stuff.

On the other hand, I would thoroughly enjoy a STL/Generic programming forum.

Yeah, the problem with a Win32 board is that there''d be so much content overlap between it and the OpenGL/DirectX boards. I mean, who uses GDI that much any more?

Don''t listen to me. I''ve had too much coffee.
