Not sure if anyone noticed, but I haven''t really been frequenting the forums or doing anything with GameDev.net for a while. I got really burned out so I decided to take a break. At this point, I''m still seriously considering resigning, but at least for now, I''ll be posting here more regularly, and I''ll start posting articles again, and maybe even replying to requests in the suggestions forum (where I''ll tell them "No, we don''t have time to do that").

ARE YOU KIDDING?? Of course we noticed! The place went to hell for a little bit... Michealson has been picking up slack and things are back to normal. I can understand wanting to resign. If you''ve gotten burnt out enough to need a break, you have to be nearing that point. Anyway, its good to have yah back!

Welcome back Dave. I hope you don''t resign, because you seem to keep this place running most of the time (you''re certainly the most visible staffer), but it must be pretty hard to run GameDev and work full-time, so it''s understandable.

I''m sure everyone who''s benefited from this site appreciates the time you''ve put in anyway.

I have a quic question for the GDNet staff - how much longer do you think it will be before the results for the 4E3 contest are complete? I realize that you guys are way overworked, but I am really curious to see how badly I placed.

I do agree with GameCreator. If you need a long break, take a long break, or even get away from it all for a long time!

Well, I for one can tell you that if you leave, this site will have lost one of their finest. Hope you don''t resign but if you feel that you have to... All this to say, glad you''re back.
