I''m becoming a little frustrated here... Where do I download the required libraries and API specifications for OpenAL? The OpenAL site seems to send me in circles when I search for an answer to this seemingly simple question and I seem to be the only one with this problem. Hmmm... Any "use this for sound" debating would also be welcome. _____________________________ And the Phoenix shall rise from the ashes... --Thunder_Hawk -- ¦þ ______________________________

See developer.creative.com for a Windows SDK. See opensource.creative.com for instructions on downloading the OpenAL source code. I have no idea why they don''t put information about this on the OpenAL.org site.

Ehh? From the OpenAL web site Download page:

OpenAL CVS server

cvs -dserver:guest@opensource.creative.com:/usr/local/cvs-repository login
(use password "guest")
cvs -dserver:guest@opensource.creative.com:/usr/local/cvs-repository co openal

Seems pretty clear to me. I hope you don''t have an aversion
to using CVS.

Oh, I guess they did fix their download page; I guess I should have checked again .

The only problem with the CVS stuff is I have no idea how to use it. Thanks Null and Void, I didn''t even think of checking in on creative labs.
