Multi-screen debugging w/ console window?

More and more I''m finding that, when debugging full-screen games, I need to be able to see output to a console window too so I can check fill rates, FPS, whether vectors are getting set correctly, etc etc. I''ve searched the web high and low but can''t find any references on how to program a console window to appear solely on a second screen while the program itself is full-screen on the primary screen (assuming a multi-screen setup). Setting up a console window is fine and dandy (HANDLEs and whatnot) but can anyone shed some light on setting a console window to run on a secondary screen? Cheers, Francis "DeathWish" Woodhouse

This doesn''t answer your question but:

I used to use a console to display debugging information online. It sounded like a cool idea but when I profiled my code I found that the hit for writing to a console was a lot more than I thought. Due to my design it would be difficult to ''tun off'' the use of the console.

In the end I tested the diff between writing to a console and just writing the text to screen. Guess what? It was the same, but it was easier to turn off the text and I could go fullscreen.

Screenshot on the link below as to what it look like now:
(Don''t let the GUI CPU time get to you, it''s the only thing running in the game of any significance)
