game idea from book
I just finished reading The Talisman, by Peter Straub and Stephen King and I think it would make one hell of a good RPG game! If anyone else has read the book, could they give their opinion?
You''d have to license it, which = fail. No way you could come up with the $$$.

It is definately a cool book but I think you would be better off just using the idea of switching between worlds with a magic item and incorporating the same themes. Just dont call it The Talisman and you should be alright. Man it has been a while since I read that book, very good read, gotta go dig it out...
Yeah, i couldn''t put it down. Just out of curiosity, how much would it cost to license?
As much as the owners wanted it to.

If you have to ask you can''t afford it.
