I''m looking to make a 3D landscape for the startup screen of my OS. Does anyone know of any good 3D landscape modelling/designing programs and their links? Please, no bringing up my other posts... I had too much coffee.

This is asked CONSTANTLY... should it go in the FAQ? is it already there?

Anyway, check out Milkshape and Blender for general 3D. Those will probably serve your needs. As for landscape-specific programs, Bryce is both good and cheap (tho not quite free).

Oh, and you are forgiven, as long as you don't create a bizarre "apology" thread like Pipo did.

*** 500 ERROR ***

EDIT: Oh, but damn you for stealing my statutory excuse.

Don't listen to me. I've had too much coffee.
