SmartCertify

Hey all, For some time now, SmartCertify has called me on and off to try and sway me into signing up for their courses. Right now they''re offering a deal where you get access to all of their courses and training for a whole year at a price of $2,000. So, I wanted to see what everyone else''s opinions here were about SmartCertify and IT Certification. Would the aforementioned deal be a reasonable one to go after? Have you had any experience with SmartCertify? What''s the IT industry''s stance on certifcation? Right now I''m 17, and, like many others here , am looking to get into the game industry. Would it be a terribly bad decision to get a wealth of IT knowledge under my belt now and the programming knowledge that comes with it and then head onto a college to flesh out the rest of my education? Or would the SmartCertify thing just be a waste of time? -SP Any opinions and incite is welcome. Thanks!
