API for changing screen resolution?

Hi. This information may be a little dated and possibly incorrect since it''s been a while since I''ve messed with changing the display settings without using OpenGL/DX to do this for me... That said -- please check all information provided here.
For the default display only use ChangeDisplaySettings(). You can, however, change the settings for any display using ChangeDisplaySetingsEx(). If you use the latter, you''ll need to use EnumDisplayDevices() to get a list of all displays available, then pass in the proper DISPLAY_DEVICE.DeviceName into EnumDisplaySettings (or NULL if you''re only changing the default display). since hard coding refresh rates is a generally a bad thing to do.
Hope this helps.
