I breakdance, and I''ve been wondering if anyone has had any ideas for a breakdancing game... My initial vision would be almost tony-hawk-esque but somehow that just doesn''t cut it. Reply if you breakdance or you think you could make a game around it... or if you already have, or if there is a game out there you want to tell me about. George D. Not to burst your bubble or anything, but I couldn''t see a breakdancing game being anywhere close to entertaining. I like dancing, and I certainly like breakdancing, but I don''t think the potential (for a great game) is there.

While I hate the game, Dance Dance Revolution is one of the most popular games in the entire world. Stibmit..you''re wrong.

Anyway, if someone where to make a more ''real'', not so dorky/happy/trancey dance game focused on breakdancing, I''d definately have a blast.

I had an idea for a dancing game once. The characters were to be able to switch "genres" of dance, which remapped the controls to perform different moves. You could also play as DJs and then have DJ faceoffs, dancer faceoffs, DJ-vs-dancer or freestyles.

If you made a breakdance game (authentic b-boy shit), I''d play it and I know a lot of other people who would as well. Maybe you could even get some breakdance legend cameos...

Dance Revolution? Never heard of it! It''s that popular, eh? Computer or console?

How could you have not heard of dance dance revolution? Its quite popular in my area. I''m a hell of a dancer from when I used to go to raves, I tried to play DDR once but I sucked at it, plus I was wearing boots so they didn''t exactly fit on the pads.

But I think a breakdancing game would be cool. I''d play it, to add on to what Oluseyi said, have some kind of face off. Let me control what the character does and have combos. The harder the tricks the more cheers you get thus improving your score or rating or however you want to do it.

I think your biggest problem in a game like this would be getting the animations done. I seen some kids do stuff at raves that were pretty messed up, but looked cool as hell. I would never be able to do those moves unless I had a video camera and recorded it.

Or the Breakdancing MMORPG. Call it "Break''en Online"
You would have skills in different types of dances.
You can either learn through repetition, or by watching someone.
Just like the movie, when you get into a fight, you start dancing. There is even the special moves, like flash your oppentent to humiliate him/her in front of his/hers homies.

I have actually had a similar idea. It would nice to see what you can come up with. It would be great fun to have a crew and battle with computer crews or other human crews over the net.

Not when others are watching anyway
