Project Name: College Football Coach (American Football mind you ) What we have so far (team wise): Financial System Programmer Interface Programmer Me (well I guess I could list all the various things I do but lets just keep it down to Project Manager & Graphic Artist) What you need to know & Have: Visual C++ 6.0, MIRC, ICQ How good do you need to be: I'm not looking for a complete newbie, but if you have a good knowledge of C++ you will do What you will do: You will implement the formulas I have designed into the game. Ideas and opinions are strongly recommended if you wish to join. Give us some details on the game: Right now as it stands, College Football Coach is going to be a hybird between text-sim and arcade football game. It will sport a windows interface with an in-game graphical element, but you won't control the players but will coach them. The game will be as close to a simulation of being a College Football Coach. Going with the traditional text-sim format we will also be including a financial system which in itself will be a game. Now how much do I get paid: You won't get paid right off, as this is a budget a project as they come. But once the game is released, each person will recieve their cut depending on how much work they did in the end. So the lead programmer can expect a good 30%-40% or so of the game revenue. (Game will sell for $20). I might have left something out here, so if you have any questions be sure to post a reply here. If you would wish to apply contact me at ou2000sooners@yahoo.com. I'm working on getting a website up, but its still at least a month away (got to find an adequate host). Thank you for your time. [edited by - OU2000 on October 3, 2002 7:52:00 PM]

What are the ages of the current team members? What are the options you''re considering as far as obtaining a publisher?

I''m not sure on the publishers route. EASports did publish Front Office Football 2, 2001, and 2002, but it got progressivly worse over the years. I will send an early copy to several possible ones (especially SEGA sports, although they don''t seem to be the type of publisher that''d be looking to publish a text-sim). As far as ages go, I think we''re all in our late teens to early 20s.
