Does not seem to exist??? When I try to use it I get this error message: D:\Java\Bank Acount\AccountDriver.java:59: Method parseDouble(java.lang.String) not found in class java.lang.Double. newAcc = Double.parseDouble(input); I''ve tried reinstalling the SDK but it doesn''t help, any suggestions

parseDouble didn''t exist before jdk version 1.2. Make sure you''re using that or newer.

It should exist. Otherwise you could try Double.valueOf(input).doubleValue(); or FloatingDecimal.readJavaFormatString(input).doubleValue();, which is what Double.parseDouble() does anyway.
