Good people, I''m writting a a game in visual C. {Not a problem.} Some of the core code I want to use in my editor apps. Agine not a complex problem but my editor is written ing delphi. The core is useing opengl calls and is wrapped up in a dll. the delphi app is calling the dll but nothing is being displayed. The render context is being set up and the display box is being cleared, but no polys. ;{ It also seems to have the annoying habbit of locking the dll. I can''t delete it or compile over it.. My questions Are: Are there any know issues with doing what I''m trying here? Has anyone tryied this and run into similar problems? Has anyone tryied this and not run into these problems? Armand

the DLL will be locked if its loaded into memory anywhere, I assume your program is the only one using it so make sure its released when the program quits.

Yes my program is the only one useing the Dll but the way delphi {at least 5 and 6} works is it handles all the dll loading and unloading for you.
E.g if you delclare

procedure DrawGL; cdecl ; external ''../debug/GLTest.dll''

Then you can use ''DrawGL'' anywhere in that unit.
No need to load or unload.
