I get the message : mfcs42d.lib(dllmodul.obj) : error LNK2005: _DllMain@12 already defined in MSVCRTD.lib(dllmain.obj) msTA3doimporter.dll : fatal error LNK1169: one or more multiply defined symbols found I''ve been trying to guess what could cause it but the error msg isnt very expressive. I looks like a mfc error but I really cant tell, I''m just using a plugin framework and inserted my code into it. It worked well but at some point it started throwing that error at me and deleted the added code didnt help either.

Have you looked at the help page your IDE brings up when you hit F1 ?
If not, why not ?

A typical problem is that your modules (libs, object files ...) don''t all use the same target run-time (single/multithreaded/multithreaded DLL).

"Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it." — Brian W. Kernighan
