I heard FaceHat thinks liquid is a disturbed individual

Hooray for FaceHat quotes!
<SHilbert> Cats reach terminal velocity after falling five stories ^_^
<FaceHat> I wonder how they found that out
<SHilbert> They measured how badly injured cats get after falling from a given number of stories
<FaceHat> are they hiring?
<SHilbert> "Studies show that the number of injuries and broken bones increases with the number of stories a cat has fallen but only up to a point: Cats that fall from seven stories or higher have the same number or fewer injuries than those that tumble from five stories. Apparently, cats reach terminal velocity --- the state in which air drag prevents further acceleration --- after five stories."
<FaceHat> I think I can make their data more precise
<SHilbert> Actually I think this data comes from reports when pets are brought into the veterinarian
<FaceHat> sucks to that
<FaceHat> that''s not a clean data set
I think your thing about cats is wrong.
I am pretty sure it takes them about 5 stories to spin around so they can land on their feet. Once they do that, they can absorb the shock of the impact in their legs like springs. Not to mention they probably do have a terminal velocity anyway (a cat landing on its back at that velocity, however would surely become a flat-cat).

More like 2 feet. Trust me, I have a cat, he can fall backwards and right himself *very* fast.

EEN rocks. I couldn''t bear reading GameDev if it weren''t for his hilarity and comedy mastery. He truly makes TA what it is.
I think KalvinB has been planning to marry him for quite some time, actually.
I''ll leave you all with a quality FaceHat quote.
