Hi, I''ve got Fruity Loops (it''s nice and easy to use...). I''ve got some sample sounds, but they don''t sound realistic at all. When program can I use to actually make new or edit previous instruments rather than just mix them together as FL does? Thanks all, Uni
...I''d have thought that this would have started some sort of music program flame war again ...keep your suggestions rolling in!

Thanks

I think the key with fruityloops is to actually use the effects like eq and compression that are included with it to make the samples fit your needs. Everytime I use a sample that was included I always eq the hell out of it. The really exciting thing about that software though is you can import any sample that you like. So you could go dig up any drum samples in wav. format that you find and dump them into fruityloops to make something that sounds awesome! Alot of the time I''ll record a guitar riff and then import it into fruityloops and create really crazy industrial beats around it.

You can hear some of the things I''ve done with fruityloops and cakewalk sonar at www.mp3.com/451_degrees

What do you use to make NEW samples though?
