Now that I figured out a way to draw my sphere, I need to continue on my process. However, I''ve come to a sort of jam. I''ve written out the pseudo-code for the loops I want to go through. It goes something like this: loop    get random vector    loop       for each vertex in sphere       move in/out depending    end loop end loop Obviously, I left out a lot of details. I hope you get a basic understanding. All I''m trying to get across is this: I need to go through iterations where I must have control over the vertices in my sphere. I need to be able to move their position, and that''s all. I''ve made my sphere using a GLUquadricObj, passing that into gluSphere. The dimensions are irrelevant. Does anyone who''s had experience with this function know whether it''s possible to manipulate the sphere''s vertices? Can I continue using this process, or do I need to look to another function? // chimaera

Technically you could rip the geometric data outta it, but its just way too much hassle. You''d need to know glu and the source to glu (look at mesa) inside out and totally understand everything, and i dont know even that. Heh, sorry

LoL, that''s pretty much what I was expecting.. it didn''t look like there was much info to get a hold on on the outside.

Oh well.. I guess I''ll try looking into that and then maybe a different way to draw it..
