PDF''s can be encrypted, but still be viewable, then there are just some dumb tags in the pdf that tell things like no printing allowed, no copying of text allowed, ..., but that''s of course just because acrobat readers is so dumb to listen to these tags. Does there exist a viewer that simply ignores the tags?

There was that eBook reader thingy by Skylarov, I dunno if it handles PDF''s though.

As far as I know Ghostview ignores such tags (Ghostview uses Ghostscript). I lazely ''fixed'' a PDF once by converting it to Postscript and then back to PDF, which means that the ''pdf2ps'' tool ignores those tags (it uses Ghostscript for conversion). I have no idea if there''s a Windows version of Ghostview, but there could be a version of Ghostscript.
