3DS format

Hi Does anyone here know about a complete document on the 3ds format? or a few document that adds up to a complete documentation? so far i havn''t been able to find any good ones. For now im mostly interested in documents that covers the material block. I dont know if this is the right forum to ask this questuion, but i hope so //Johan
