How long does it take them to deliver stuff normally? I''ve ordered a book and they reckon it''ll arrive in 3 days but I''m thinking that may be a tad on the optimistic side of things.

Inside a week? I could live with that consdiering I had to wait about 3 months for OpenGL Game Programming (WH Smiths suck)
Ordered the StrouStrup C++ book(which is currently at half-price at amazon.co.uk btw) and Visual C++ .net Thursday evening, about 11:30, it was here this morning, so about 36 hours from ordering to receiving. Not bad! I''ve ordered a lot of things from amazon.co.uk during the evenings, and they have all been here 36 hours later.

I preordered a DVD that comes out on Monday, and just got an email to say they posted it early (yesterday, Saturday) to ensure it arrived on time. They have always been really good.

Wierd... my experience with Amazon has always been horrible.
They frequently take 2-3 weeks for a "5 day" delivery, and don''t tell you things are backordered until you get the package missing an item.
Anyhoo; For some odd reason, I find it much better to buy from amazon.co.uk; even though they are across the ocean, it usually only takes them a week to ship stuff to me. Heh... I can''t explain it...
