Mod abuse?

Okay, today, in a matter of under 30 minutes, two posts that were created bringing to light (again) the fact that *SOME* of the moderators seem to close posts just because they disagree with them have been closed. Now is it just me, or does that prove right there that the original posters (who shall remain anonymous, unless you go look them up) are right? Of course, I''m sure this one will be closed to, and we won''t be allowed to even debate this issue. Please, if I (and others) are wrong, please correct me and let me know why so many threads that are harmless are being closed, yet others with titles such as "Enlarge your penis", remain open. And yes, that is an actual thread that, at the time of this post, is still open.

I closed all ravings about Doom3 because it is inappropriate by the basic rules of the forum.
Mith just admitted on #gamedev that he''s gone a little crazy and been trolling the past day.
Thus the threads around here pertaining to the whole ''situation'' have been corrected.

And be prepared for this one to be closed too.

Take a look at those two threads that were closed: they were blatent flames. They did not serve any purpose but to bash those mod''s, and support copyright infringment. They pointed nothing out, and the thread that dipsy pointed out was dipsy simply goating bishop_pass into a flamewar.

If you are so concerned and think the mods are stepping out of line why don''t you email Dave? Whining about it on the forums is not only childish it''s just plain stupid. Click here, compose a message about how the evil facist mods are enforcing the rules stated in the FAQ, click Send in your email client and await Dave''s response. If he determines that something is wrong it will corrected, if not you can either can it or go to another site. Might I suggest Flipcode?
