Hello, I have problem and can't figure out what's wrong... I am working on little 2D engine, which uses sprites from DX8 library... However I decided to write own sprite class (using 2 triangles to make a quad). It's almost finished, when I run in windowed mode, everything is fine, but when I try to run the program in fullscreen mode, a quad representing the sprite doesn't display correctly - in my case, there is some huge triangle covering half of the screen, texture is not there, and I really don't understand why windowed mode works then Thx for help...BTW One more question...When using sprite interface from DX lib, coordinate system had 0,0 in left corner of the window, but for my own sprites, 0,0 lies in the center of the window. Is there any way (besides manual repositioning) to set it to left corner? [edited by - Revil on December 2, 2002 4:02:33 AM]

Perhaps your problem isn''t in the Full/Windowed mode, but rather in the actual size of the surface you''re rendering to.

This would also be likely since you''ve got a problem with 0,0 being the center of the screen.

To check, try running it in 800x600 - Windowed mode, and then in 800x600 full screen. If you don''t get the same results -- it''s the Full/Windowed problem. If they both become messed up, you''ve got something in your calculations wrong which makes it mess up with larger surfaces.

Hope this helps .
