Hmm, under $50.
Deus Ex get a vote from me. It should be pretty cheap now.
I only made it about half way through, but I plan on finishing it sometime. What a great game.

Actualy I thought Deus-Ex was a good game too. But never wound up buying it cause I heard other people saying it sucked. Depends on what kind of game you like. Me i''d go with black and white and mabye quake3 or something if you can get more than one that equals 50. Or get gta3 or vice city (you can''t go wrong with one of these trust me). Oh if you get one of the latter on the computer you better have a fast one cause I knew someone who had a 1.3 ghz and still it was slow (he didn''t have a good video card though)

I totally agree, get Deus Ex. It has the greatest storyline and nice gfx.

I disagree, Deus Ex. drove me to death, its very slow... specially the part where no guards should see you...

I like faster games... Quake III Arena is my life...

Civilization 3 was fun. It''s a turn-based single player strategy game (although there''s a multiplayer expansion out that has received horrible reviews). You basically take over the world!

What do you do in Deus Ex?

Also, Deus Ex has a Mature rating so I don't know if my parents will allow me to buy it. Isn't mature supposd to be 16 and over or something? Also, I don't think I saw it at my local Best Buy. Age of Mythology, is it as good is it looks? I had my doubts because it was by Microsoft. Black and White. Hmm...what do you do in that too?

For the pc, I''d get a budget game: I picked up Oni for $5 at a drugfair 6 months ago. You could get Serious Sam for $20 brand new, add the Second encounter and you''ve got 3 excellent games for under $50.

Tropicana is awesome too.

For the xbox I''d prolly get Metal Gear Substance for around $50

I think you can get DOOM for under $50 now...

I'm thinking of games like a bit expensive single games. Deus Ex looks cool but it has a mature rating but I don't know why. If it's just like bad language, I think I can live with that. If it is that, then I might get it, if I can find it (Do you guys know if it would probably be in a local Best Buy store?). Black and White looks cool too but that's like 20$ max so I want to find another game. I thought of Age of Mythology but I don't know how good that is. If I can get more feedback on that, I might consider that too. Any other games you guys like? Starcraft is banned by my dad because I already had a bad addiction problem with it. Heh.

Isn't Serious Sam basically a shoot-em-up game?

Then what do you do in Neverwinter Nights? I searched on it and didn't really get a good picture for it. Is it worth it's money? What do you do?

Not even close.

First of all, in Neverwinter Nights you can design your own adventure, NPC''s, items and all. Then you can run you own server with your adventure on it, and be a Dungeon Master while up to 64 people can play it.

Everquest is just.. a massive world with a bunch of people trying to reach the strongest level of power before everyone else.

Neverwinter Night''s isn''t really based on competition (depending on who you play with) and it''s based on D&D so it''s practically impossible for 2 characters to be exactly the same.

The adventure creation tools are pretty simple to use especially if you''re a programmer because it''s basically just a scripting language.

It''s definately a cool game.

Serious Sam is a FPS, and I thought it seriously sucked. Serious.

Deus Ex is one of the greatest games ever (this is subjective). It has an M for a bit of language and for being a FPS (bit of blood). If you get into it, you''ll have another addiction problem.

I was able to pick up DooM II for $20 at a Future Shop. Then you just download one of the open source versions and get DooM in GL.
