Hi Guys, I was wondering if any of you could recommend a good web site or reference book for ADA. I am a CS graduate so I am looking for reference type material not programming basics. I have found some interesting sites via Google but sometimes the best way to find the best ones is to ask! Thanks... P.S If anyone is wondering why I''m interested in learning ADA, I am starting a new job in the new year that some projects may involve ADA programming and although I will be recieving training in ADA I always like to get a head start.

With your education, surely you must know where to get hold of good ADA reference. How nice that your are a CS-Grad...so are 90% of the other guys posting here (#include me :-) )

Anyway..i don''t think you even need to read up on ADA. It''s very straightforward...almost like Pascal.

My course book for Ada was ''Ada 95 from the beginning'' by Jan Skansholm.

A very thorough book, I highly recommend it.

I really doubt that 90% of the posters here are CS graduates. There are a lot of teenagers, and there are some older posters who may come from a different field than CS.

Nice to be in the minority. =)

I fail to see why someone with a formal education in mathematics and computibility theory would necessarily know where to find references for an ailing DoD specification.
